WELCOME

This document will introduce you to a beautiful and unique spiritual and mystical Phenomenon in the heart of Islam. It began in Syria, on November 22^nd,1982, in a modest home in the suburb of Damascus: Soufanieh.

This home is inhabited by Mary Kourbet Al-Akhras (nicknamed Myrna) and her husband Nicolas Nazzour.

This spiritual Phenomenon encompasses 5 elements :
• Messages from Our Lord during ecstasies and His Blessed Mother during Her Apparitions,

• Visions,

• Ecstasies,

• Religious stigmata (visible and invisible),

• Oil oozing from a very small -palm size- inexpensive printed replica of an image of Our Lady of Kazan, now known as Our Lady of Soufanieh, and will therefore be referred to as “Icon” in this document,

• Oil exuding from the body of Mrs Myrna Nazzour.

The house of Soufanieh, remains, in all its simplicity, as welcoming as on the first days of the Phenomenon. Myrna's family continues to welcome pilgrims of all confessions coming from all over the world, with humble unobtrusiveness, generosity, impregnated with the spirit of the Gospel and a total gratuity which reflects their mission.

OUR LADY OF KAZAN

She is the Patroness of Russia, depicting Our Lady holding the Child Jesus. It is also referred to the Mother of God, Theotokos, and held in the highest esteem in orthodoxy, especially in Russian Orthodoxy. Her Feast days are held on July 21^st and November 4^th.

The Virgin Mary has been, since the 17^th century, venerated as the Saviour of Russia. This veneration has its origin in an Icon of the Virgin Mary which was miraculously resurfaced in 1579, in Kazan. At the beginning of the 17^th century, after the decisive victory of Peter the Great over the Swedish army, during which the Icon had been brandished as the flagship of victory, a Cathedral was built in honour of Our Lady of Kazan, on what has since become known as Red Square in Moscow.

The Icon has been venerated there until 1721, after which it got transferred to Saint-Petersburg, the new capital.

Napoleon's retreat in Russia has been attributed to the intercession of Our Lady of Kazan.

After the 1917 October revolution, at the time when three young children had just been spoken to by Our Lady regarding the conversion of Russia a few months earlier, in Portugal, many sanctuaries were plundered, stripped and desecrated. The Cathedral of Our Lady of Kazan, deprived of its Icon for the past two centuries, was destroyed in 1936.

Suddenly, in 1970, the Icon resurfaces: a Jesuit priest from San-Francisco (United States), also rector at the Russian Catholic Center of Our Lady of Fatima (Portugal) spots it while being offered for sale. With the approval of duly consulted Orthodox priests, the Icon is bought, and then transferred to Fatimal on July 21^st the same year (on the anniversary date of Our Lady of Kazan according to the Julian calendar). The Icon was kept at the Domus Pacis (House of Peace) Byzantine Chapel in Fatima.

There is in Saint-Petersburg (the City of Saint Peter), a Church consecrated to Our Lady of Kazan and which was converted, under communism, into a museum for atheism. On May 1^st, 1994 (the Orthodox Easter day of that year), the Church has been reconsecrated to Our Lady of Kazan, and spectacularly reopened to the cult: a huge cross was installed on the dome of the Church on that day with the help of a helicopter. A Cathedral for Our Lady of Kazan is also being rebuilt since November 4^th, 1990, with the blessing of the Orthodox Diocese, on Red Square, at the same spot where the original Cathedral was standing.

This image is in the Hodiguitria style, very similar to the Smolensk Icon: The Virgin holds Her Son in Her left arm, Her head bent towards Him, while the Child holds Himself very straight and blesses with His right hand.

Legend attributes the painting to Saint Luke the Evangelist.

Before the Angelus prayer on August 22^nd, 2004, Saint Pope John Paul II remarked that August is an important month for many Marian churches and shrines, which organize special celebrations and receive numerous pilgrims.

The Pope took the opportunity to announce that the Icon of Our Lady of Kazan, which had been taken out of Russia in the 20^th century and which eventually made its way to the Vatican, will be returned to Russia and given to the Russian Orthodox Patriarch Alexy II that week.

The Icon was taken to Russia by a Vatican delegation consisting of Cardinal Walter Kasper, head of the Pontifical Unity Council for promoting Christian Unity, and Cardinal Theodore McCarrick from the USA on August 28^th, 2004, Feast of the Dormition of Our Lady according to the Orthodox liturgical calendar.

At the invitation of Syriak-Orthodox Patriarch Zakka Iwaz I for a 5^th meeting in February 2008, Cardinal Walter Kasper along with Bishop Johan Bonny, a Belgian prelate, headed to St Ephrem Syrian Orthodox Monastery in Maarrat Sednaya in Syria to meet with delegates of the non-Chalcedonian Oriental Orthodox Churches (Armenian, Coptic, Syrian, Ethiopian) for a theological dialogue. Cardinal Kasper was later privately introduced to the Soufanieh Phenomenon, and agreed to meet with Myrna for only 10 minutes. Their meeting lasted 90 minutes!

BACKGROUND

Since November 22^nd, 1982, a simple home of the Christian neighbourhood of Soufanieh in Damascus, Capital and largest city of Syria, is the scene of spiritual Phenomena which make its inhabitants relive the graces of the first Christians.

Damascus, famous city in the history of Christianity, is marked by the conversion of Saint Paul. 

Damascus, is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world.

Damascus, is the seat of several Patriarchates: Antiochian Orthodox, Melkite Catholic and Syriak-Orthodox. Ethiopians, Armenians and Coptic bishops are also present.

Damascus, where in its vicinity, the inhabitants of the village of Maaloula speak to this day the Aramaic language spoken by Christ.

Damascus, which shelters within the walls of the Omayyad Mosque, the mausoleum of Saint John the Baptist.

Damascus which lives unexplained staggering events succeeding each other at an amazing rhythm: oozing of oil from a small printed replica of Our Lady of Kazan, and exudation of oil from Mrs Myrna Nazzour.

WHY OIL?

The oil is a sign of abundance, of joy. It purifies and soothes. It is the sign of healing and comforting. It strengthens and brings out the light. Oil is the preeminent sacred sign. It is synonymous with and the symbol of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Chrism which is used in the anointing of which is the sacramental sign and seal of the Holy Spirit; it is used during baptism, confirmation, ailment and ordination.

Oil exudes from Myrna during prayers or while speaking about the Phenomenon or during ecstasy.

Oil flows on Myrna's hands, face, neck, eyes, and feet.

Oil also flows from people's hands outside the family and Syria but always in relation to the Phenomenon of Our Lady of Soufanieh.

When the original blue Icon -the distinction is based on the colour of the Virgin Mary’s clothes- is transferred in triumph to the Byzantine Antiochian Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross (approx 500 yards from their house) on Sunday, January 9^th, 1983, it ceases to ooze oil and it is replaced by the purple copy of the Icon starting January 17^th, 1983.

Oil flows on more than a thousand photographic reproductions of the Icon.

It also gushes out of the ground of the terrace of Myrna’s home at the place where the Holy Virgin Mary has appeared.

Oil also oozes from:

• A painting of the Holy Virgin Mary;

• Prayer books;

• The wall behind which a niche is placed, under key, the blue Icon;

• From the panes closing the 2 niches (the one in the entrance and the one in the hall);

• From the cotton inside a box destined to be distributed to the sick;

• From hundreds of reproductions of the Icon kept in a photo album. A register was kept as to the owner of the picture. His name would be also inscribed on its back. When and if it would ooze oil, the owner would be contacted in order to take back his picture;

• It was also reported that picture would also ooze oil outside of Syria (prominently in Chicago and Montreal);

• A medal carried around the neck of Myrna, etc...

ABOUT THE MESSAGES RECEIVED FROM OUR LORD

JESUS CHRIST AND THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY

The Messages given in the dialectal and literary Arabic language are very compact, dense, and when printed, occupy about 14 letter-sized pages. Myrna never receives a ‘Message’ in isolation.

Whenever Myrna is to experience a supernatural event, clergy and spiritual guides present will transcribe the Message and document the event. Myrna leaves its interpretation to Church officials and her spiritual director and guides.

On 1985-11-26, Myrna has been entrusted with a private message that she can only reveal at her deathbed.

On 1987-05-28, Myrna received a terrible message from Jesus Christ concerning the whole world and the difficult times ahead. So as not to generate panic and hysteria, she only revealed publicly part of the message and revealed the rest of the message to her spiritual guides/directors present during the ecstasy. But on 2013-02-11, Myrna was interviewed by the Lebanese TV Télé-Lumière. When asked about the war instigated against Syria since 2011, and the general status of the world, Myrna revealed the rest of the message: We will only be saved by His Name.

Their official translation from Arabic into French and later into English has been done by clergy in Damascus and Lebanon.

So far, they have been fully translated in English and French, and partially in: Bulgarian, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Vietnamese. However, Jesus’s prayer of May 31^st, 1984 has been translated in over 30 languages.

In the revealed messages, we find that:

WHO IS MYRNA?

Mary Kourbet Al-Akhras, known as Myrna in her family, is born on May 3^rd, 1964, from a Greek-Catholic father and a Greek-Orthodox mother. She lived a normal childhood. Of jovial character, she marries Nicolas Nazzour, a Greek-Orthodox, mid-May 1982, six months before the start of the Phenomenon on Saturday, November 27^th, 1982, on the eve of the first Sunday of Advent. She has never had any serious sickness nor accident. She studies in Christian schools, Catholic or Orthodox, also in government schools. Of average intellectual level, she leaves school a year before completing the unified Syrian baccalaureate diploma. Her religious knowledge is very elementary. She is a young, and well-balanced eighteen-year old woman when the Phenomenon began in 1982. She will live the Passion of The Christ with the gift of the stigmata, and have visions of the Blessed Virgin Mary during ecstasies.

She is now the mother of two children, Myriam and John-Emmanuel, and grand-mother of four boys.

Myrna considers herself as a simple mail-woman; she will ‘handover’ whatever Message she would receive from Our Lord Jesus Christ or from His Mother and leaves its theological interpretation to the Church. She asks for prayers from everyone in order to be faithful to her mission.

The first supernatural event started on November 22^nd, 1982. Myrna was praying with other members of her family while visiting her ailing sister-in-law, Leila, Nicolas' sister, bedridden because of sharp pains that made her scream, when suddenly, she felt a strange and indescribable event: all her body was shivering as if some force was coming out from inside her (to quote her expression).

Oil had just started to exude from her hands for the first time.

After this initial emotion, Myrna rubbed the aching places on Leila's body with her hands filled with oil. The pain stopped instantaneously.

The second supernatural event to take place in their home took place on November 25^th, 1982. Myrna's mother having learned about Leila's recovery, reminded her daughter, with a little reproach in her voice, that she also was suffering very much from the spinal column and asked her to pray for her. In the family's presence, Myrna prayed while holding a wad of dry cotton in her hand. Again oil appeared on her hands and dampened the cotton. Myrna, applied the piece of cotton on her mother's back, and since then, the dorsal pains have vanished. Myrna’s mother died in 2025.

The third supernatural event to take place in their home started on November 27^th, 1982, coinciding with the anniversary date of the apparition of the Virgin Mary to Saint Catherine Labouré in 1830, at the Rue du Bac in Paris, France. Oil started to ooze from a small printed replica of Our Lady of Kazan, bought by Nicolas in July 1980, at the Alexandre Nevsky Orthodox Church in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Initially, this oozing from the replica slowly followed the rhythm of the liturgical cycle of the Christian feasts and lasted until November 26^th , 1990. During these years, the oozing of oil was interrupted from November 27^th, 1985 to November 25^th, 1986, but the atmosphere of peace and prayers in the house of Soufanieh never ceased. During this period, not one drop of oil oozed from the Icon and no apparitions occurred.

This period explains part of Jesus Christ's Message on November 26^th, 1985:

" ... and if My absence lasts, and the light disappears from you, do not fear, this will be for My glorification. "

The Holy Icon, as it was called by the Antiochian Orthodox Patriarchate in 1982, oozed again during Holy Week 2001, Holy Week 2017 and Holy Week 2025 when the Feast of Easter was celebrated at the same date among Catholics and Orthodox.

ABOUT THE MESSAGES GIVEN DURING ECSTASIES & APPARITIONS

From Jesus Christ : 21 Messages

From the Holy Virgin Mary : 11 Messages

Total number of Messages: 32

The Messages encompass the fundamental beliefs of Catholic / Orthodox Christianity:

• The Trinity,

• The Sacrament of the Eucharist,

• The Incarnation,

• Divine Paternity,

• The mediation of the Virgin Mary,

• Deserving the Kingdom of Heaven,

• Repentance to the Lord,

• The necessity of constant prayer and fasting,

• The sanctity of marriage,

• A pressing appeal for the unity of the church,

• The role of the laity in the work of unity.

The 'Nihil Obstat', in the Roman Catholic Church is a certificate that a book/text/document is not open to objection on doctrinal or moral grounds. It was granted in 1987 by Fr. Naoum Attallah, Superior of the Lazarists in Damascus, for the Messages covering the period of 1982 to 1987.

The Messages were given mostly at the following occasions:

• The Angel Gabriel’s Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary

• The Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ (twice)

• The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (four times)

• The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (four times)

• During common Easter Feasts among Catholics and Orthodox (five times)

• The beginning of the month of May, month dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary

• The end of the month of May, month dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary

• The anniversary of the Phenomenon (four times)

MANIFESTATIONS OF THE OIL – COUNTRIES

Oil has exuded from Myrna’s body when giving her testimonial while on mission to the following countries :

Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Cyprus, USA, Canada, Germany, France, Netherlands, Australia, Belgium, Egypt, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Austria

We can count hundreds if not thousands of occurrences to date...

However, oil has not manifested itself in Myrna’s hands during her mission in the following countries:

• England

• Russia

• Poland (during multiple visits)

• Slovakia (during multiple visits)

• Ukraine

• Australia (on 2^nd visit)

• United States of America & Canada (not on every visit)

However, Myrna brings along oil that has oozed in the past from the Icon and anoints the faithful with it.

OIL HAS ALSO OOZED FROM REPRODUCTIONS

OF THE ICON

In the Middle-East: Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Palestine and other Arabic Countries;

In Europe: Switzerland, France, Holland, Germany, Belgium;

In the Carribean: Haiti;

and in Australia. 

ABOUT THE OIL EXUDING FROM THE BODY OF MYRNA NAZZOUR

 DURING THE ECSTASIES

One of the Messages of the Virgin Mary confided to Myrna on November 26^th, 1990 specifies: 

'...As to the oil, it will continue to appear on your hands for the glorification of My Son Jesus, whenever He wants it and wherever you go, because We are with you and with whoever wishes that the Feast (of Easter) is unified.'

So far, 39 ecstasies have been documented, 8 of which were outside Damascus. 

In general, Myrna sees the Holy Virgin Mary, or Jesus Christ.  Usually the ecstasy is preceded by an exudation of oil from the hands, face or neck of Myrna. When she is about to see Jesus Christ, oil comes out also through her eyes and burns them before she enters into ecstasy. This stage is followed by the ecstasy itself, that is to say the state of disconnection with the external world. During this phase, Myrna does not see, hear, nor feel. Her body is stiff. She sees Jesus Christ in the form of a Person made up of light without distinguishing His face, which is not the case with the Holy Virgin Mary. After having seen Jesus Christ, she returns to her normal state, and she takes time to recover her normal sight; as her deep interior light prevents her from seeing anything.

Often, one to four physicians would be present during the ecstasies. A number of medical tests have been undertaken mainly on her sight, sensitivity, skin and reflexes: all were negative.

The duration of the ecstasies varies between 5 and 75 minutes.

Most of these ecstasies have been recorded on videotapes by amateurs and professionals alike and shared with various local and international Medias documenting the various facets of this Phenomenon.

These ecstasies were accompanied most of the time with Messages summarizing the important Christian realities, and are in full harmony with the Gospel through their deep spiritual meaning and their pressing appeal to faith, love, announcing the Emmanuel, repentance, humility, joy in the Lord and mutual forgiveness.

When asked if she desires to see Jesus, Myrna would reply :

After seeing Him, I can no longer see any other human face...

GRACES

• Several cases of bone-related illness recoveries or the like,

• Several cases of cancer,

• Several cases of pregnancy with the presence of an important quantity of fibrosis have been certified by several physicians,

• Multiple cases of various other diseases,

• A case of a paraplegic,

• A case of blindness,

• A case of malign tumour in the pancreas,

• A case of herniated disc.

Medical reports have been written by doctors Peter Salam and Jamil Marji.

Several Muslims have been healed in Soufanieh.

In answer to the oil Phenomenon, a dense spiritual Phenomenon imposes itself through prayer.

People pray in an atmosphere of peace not only in Our Lady's house in Soufanieh, but also in the homes where oil has manifested itself, thus bringing back communal family prayer.

As for spiritual healing, one cannot fail but notice their fruits every day, and they are wonderful.

Discrete conversions to Christianity from Islam are also reported.

ANALYSIS OF THE OIL

Six scientific analyses have been conducted on this double source of oil (from the Holy Icon and Myrna's body):

• Two in Syria,

• Two in Germany,

• One in Paris, France

• and one in Rome, Italy.

The results are identical:    IT IS 100% PURE OLIVE OIL which the human body can never excrete!

THE APPARITIONS OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY

The Holy Virgin Mary has appeared to Myrna five times:

• Wednesday December 15^th, 1982: no Message, Myrna runs away, frightened.

• Saturday December 18^th, 1982: first Message in literary Arabic.

• Saturday January 8^th, 1983: one word pronounced in dialectal Arabic; the Virgin Mary was crying.

• Monday February 21^st, 1983: second Message, addresses specifically Fr Joseph Malouli, plus a private Message to Myrna pronounced in dialectal Arabic.

• Thursday March 24^th, 1983: third Message pronounced in literary Arabic.

All apparitions have taken place at night, on the terrace of Myrna’s house.

Only Myrna saw the Holy Virgin Mary.

On December 18^th, 1982, Myrna accidentally touched the foot of the Virgin Mary.

On the eve of the Annunciation, March 24^th, 1983, oil oozed from the Crucifix of the Rosary held by the Virgin Mary when it touched Myrna’s hands. Myrna anointed everyone present, and at the Virgin Mary’s request, she made the sign of the cross on Her forehead.

During the apparitions, an intense atmosphere of prayer and peace prevails around Myrna and throughout the house. 

The apparition manifests itself on the horizontal branch of a eucalyptus tree situated at the edge of the Barada river about fifteen yards to the south of the house. A globe of light appears first, then opens, enabling the sight of a blue crescent high above that disappears once the Holy Virgin Mary appears. She is first sitting on the branch, then stands up and walks towards the terrace of the house, leaving behind Her a wake of light.

She crosses the iron railing and stops on the terrace. 

The passage of the Holy Virgin through the iron railing has raised a problem to Myrna:

"How can a human body cross an iron railing?"

She is dressed in white, wearing a blue belt, covered with a sort of hood forming part of the dress and wearing on her right shoulder, a blue shawl (similar to the painting of the Assumption of Mary by Murillo).

She holds in Her right hand between the index and the annular a rosary of crystal colour.

Her right arm is folded at the height of the chest, the left arm down by Her side.

Her feet are invisible.

She delivers Her Message to Myrna which is inaudible to the persons present.

Myrna then repeats slowly the Message just heard.

At the end of the vision, the Holy Virgin returns to the eucalyptus, moving backwards.

Once on the branch, She disappears first, then the globe.

The Messages confided to Myrna during the apparitions are completed by the Messages of the ecstasies.

The length of these various Messages varies between one sentence and a paragraph.

Among the Messages during the ecstasies, one is missing.

Indeed, emotionally shaken by the prayer of a Muslim woman, Myrna has not been able to remember the Message relayed to her at this occasion.

They are confided in literary or in dialectal Arabic.

The vocabulary is very simple.

The Holy Virgin Mary has entrusted Myrna with a secret that she is not to reveal until her death.

During the first apparition, Myrna is so distraught that she fled towards her sister-in-law Helen, woke her up while screaming and pointing to the terrace: ' Helen, the Blessed Virgin Mary!'. Helen saw nothing. Awad, the husband of Helen, and Myrna's brother-in-law, had to carry her in his arms and take her down to the lounge.

Fathers George Abu Zakhem, Greek (Antiochian) Orthodox and Myrna's parents are contacted in order to join Myrna and the Nazzour family for prayer.

Father Elias Zahlaoui was also contacted near the end of the prayers, at 11:45 pm. He is informed about what had happened.

He tells Myrna: 'Probably the Virgin Mary wanted to give you a Message, but seeing you so upset, She did not say anything. Prepare yourself at welcoming Her with this prayer, 'O Virgin Mary, help me to receive You and to be receptive to Your Message'.

Myrna replies: 'Is that all?'

THE ECSTASIES

It is defined as an altered state of consciousness where an individual experiences a profound, transcendent connection with the Divine marked by reduced external awareness, expanded spiritual awareness, and often accompanied by intense emotions and visions. The individual is also not aware of his/her surroundings.

Often before delivering a Message, Myrna would say:

"Christ has given me a Message to which I have not understood anything."

Jesus Christ has appeared to Myrna as a Person bathing in light once during Holy Week 2001.

Upon emerging from this ecstasy, Myrna tells us that she has also seen the Blessed Virgin Mary and Father Joseph Malouli, who died on March 5^th, 2000.

The Virgin Mary held Myrna’s left hand and Father Joseph Malouli her right. Both led Myrna to Jesus Christ. They were all bathed in a brilliant light.

During her 8-minute ecstasy in Syria’s Hauran Diocese on March 3^rd 1985, Myrna has seen a priest with no head scarf along with the Virgin Mary.

She did not know the priest but when the clergy presented her a photo album of the deceased priests of the Diocese, she immediately recognized him!

He was of short stature and was smiling during the ecstasy.

It was Bishop Naaman.

MYRNA'S RELIGIOUS VISIBLE STIGMATA

(Up to and including year 2004)

The ‘stigmata’ phenomenon manifests itself within the stigmatized person with the opening, in her / his body, of wounds (stigma) reminiscent of the five wounds of Jesus Christ, plus the crown of thorns. The wounds do not suppurate and the blood is pure. The stigmatization is accompanied with intense physical and moral suffering. It happens generally during the day, in remembrance of the Passion of The Christ. 

In Catholicism, 90% of the time, women are given this gift.

We count approximately 500 cases of stigmatists since St Francis of Assisi.

Among them, several have been canonized.

There are currently 20 active cases of stigmatists in the world to date.

This Phenomenon is relatively unknown in Orthodox Christianity while oozing Icons are predominant.

The first time they appeared, they were preceded by various symptoms: 

• The appearance of a sort of callosity in the middle of her palms

• Opening of the wound on her left flank a few days before the simultaneous opening of the five wounds, etc...

Having opened on the afternoon of Friday November 25^th, 1983, the wounds are totally healed around 23:00 without leaving a scar.

The wound of her left flank was small, it measured about half an inch.

Eight physicians have seen the stigmata, while some of them have felt them.

Archbishop Mgr Stephanos Haddad, Greek-Orthodox, has witnessed it and he remained approximately one hour beside Myrna.

The second occurrence appeared suddenly on Holy Thursday, April 19^th, 1984 at 15:30. The wound of her flank was deep.

Father Malouli measured it: four inches.

Someone advised Nicolas to take his wife to the hospital to stitch it.

His reply came loud and clear: 

"He who has opened the wounds, will close them". 

Around 23:00 hours, all wounds were totally closed without leaving a scar. 

The Syrian-Catholic Archbishop, Mgr Joseph Mounayer has witnessed the presence of the stigmata. 

The third occurrence appeared on Holy Thursday, April 16^th, 1987 in the presence of Fathers Elias Zahlaoui and Joseph Malouli who have seen the first drops of blood spurt out from Myrna's forehead where a wound opened for the first time.

The wound of her flank measured 4.75 inches.

A French biologist, Mrs. Geneviève Antakly measured it, calls it a scratch.

This wound was open approximately ten minutes after the others and the following day it was totally closed.

The other wounds that were submitted to tests have taken several days to heal.

Wounds on the forehead, hands and feet were healed without any treatment or bandages.

One has never used any disinfectant to clean the marks of the wounds.

Father Nicholas Baalbaki, surgeon and Greek-Orthodox priest has seen and touched it.

French biologist Jean-Claude Antakly as well as two surgeons Louis Kawa and George Mesmar, witnessed them but have not touched them.

With the exception of the stigmata on Friday November 25^th, 1983 (1st anniversary of the Phenomenon), it was noticed that the stigmata open only when Catholic and Orthodox celebrate Easter together.

The fourth occurrence was on Holy Thursday April 12^th , 1990. The stigmata opened in three stages:

• The five wounds on the forehead, then

• The wounds on the hands and feet, then

• The wound on her flank that measured 4.75 inches.

The fifth occurrence was on Holy Thursday, April 12^th, 2001 in the presence of Fathers Elias Zahlaoui, Boulos Fadel, Antoine Mousleh, Jean-Pierre Devedeux (France) and Fadi Tabet (Lebanon).  

The wound of her flank measured 4.75 inches. 

The sixth occurrence was on Holy Thursday, April 8^th, 2004 in the presence of Fathers Elias Zahlaoui, Boulos Fadel, Joseph Besnier (France), Nicolas Bustros, Louis-René Gagnon (Canada) and Adel T. Khoury (Germany). 

Exceptionally that year, only the wound of her left flank was opened measuring 1.5 inches. 

A comprehensive Scandinavian medical team led by Dr Knut Kvernebo consisting of psychologists, neurologists and dermatologists came to test Myrna for a skin disease called erythromelalgia. A theologian, Niels Hvidt accompanied them in order to put in context the physical wounds of the stigmata with its religious significance.

They even brought their own equipment: Laser Doppler and several computers.

The result proved negative!

As per Myrna’s interior desire, in order for the stigmata not becoming some sort of spectacle, they did not visibly occur in 2007, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2017 and 2025.

COMMON HOLY WEEKS BETWEEN THE CATHOLIC AND

ORTHODOX CHURCHES

(Due to a calendar coincidence)

During common Holy Weeks in 1984, 1987, 1990, 2001 and 2004, Myrna did receive the visible stigmata, Messages and the exudation of oil from her body and oozing of oil from the Icon.

Myrna would later say:

“I knew a lot of people would come.

In the days leading up to Holy Week,

I prayed to the Lord to comfort me.

I especially didn’t want Soufanieh to turn into a spectacle.”

Myrna intimately desired that Jesus would keep the gift of the stigmata private, and He did.

In the year 2007 - Myrna's religious visible stigmata did not occur.

Oil exuded from Myrna's hands and face.

In the year 2010 - Myrna's religious visible stigmata did not occur.

Oil appeared in Myrna's hands during the Universal prayer

In the year 2011 - Myrna's religious visible stigmata did not occur. No visible signs whatsoever. War starts against Syria.

In the year 2014 - Message from Jesus Christ during a period of war against Syria. Myrna's religious visible stigmata did not occur. Oil exuded from Myrna's hands and face.

In the year 2017 - Myrna's religious visible stigmata did not occur.
Oil oozed from the Icon at Soufanieh after an absence of 16 years.

In the year 2025 - Myrna's religious visible stigmata did not occur. While in prayer, a Muslim women noticed that oil oozed from the Icon at Soufanieh.

The next common Holy Weeks will be in the years 2028 and 2031.

ON MYRNA’S MYSTICAL EUCHARIST DURING HER 3-DAY TRIDUUM

SIGHT DEVIATION

Let's listen to Myrna on this subject.

Two or three months before November 1984, I heard a voice deep inside me saying, "I will take your eyes." I didn't understand what it meant and I didn't pay attention to it. I tried to forget about it, but it kept spinning through my head... I thought I was self-suggestioning, but it kept coming back during my daily activities at home and when I am not alone. In the end, I was afraid. I kept thinking to myself, "Why am I thinking about it so much?" I informed a close friend and asked her not to reveal it; but she couldn't... Eventually, Father Elias Zahlaoui found out about it. He approached me without revealing the secret, gently asking me :

"How are you... what's your news... what's your state of mind... what are your predispositions, etc."

I told him nothing, but he kept coming back at me.

When he saw that I wasn't cooperating, he decided to go straight to the point.

He told me that this ‘voice’ that you hear could be that of the Devil, but do not be afraid because God is with you, and he asked me to intensify my prayer.

I wanted to fast for three days before the Feast of the Soufanieh Phenomenon, that is, from November 26^th to 28^th 1984. From the beginning of my fast, I entered into ecstasy. During this ecstasy, I no longer saw anything of the surrounding world. I did not see the Virgin Mary nor Jesus Christ, but only a very strong light. I don't know what a blind person sees. Once the ecstasy was over, my vision returned to normal. I then remembered this inner voice that I had heard before and I cried. I thought that everything was over.

Several doctors had come to examine me and then I understood from them that a blind person only sees black, while I only saw white! That's what I thought also. The doctors noticed that my pupils did not react to their examinations. This strong white light I saw, invaded me, and blinded my vision to material things for three days. I felt an indescribable peace. Even when I saw the Virgin Mary on the terrace of the apparitions, I didn't feel such peace. I was very rested, calm, serene, and happy.

The people's reaction to my condition was predictable. They were all troubled and afraid, afraid for me. However, they were reassured when they saw me at peace. They were worried about me because of my fasting. They insisted that I eat something, telling me that God didn't want that. I didn't answer them.

I could hear my mother crying. She would say: Does God want to leave you in this state? I would ask her "Bring me the Bible."

She would open the Bible and I would point at a passage with my finger and I would ask her to read it.

The passage referred to the Divine Light and the specific passage said "Don't worry about what you will eat or drink, or what you will wear."

I didn't eat, drink, nor speak for three days. Anyone who entered the room smelled a strange but strong scent of roses. Everyone noticed that a Force emanated from my room.

During those three days, my pupils were open. People slept in my room, either on the floor or on the sofa... During the day, an impressive calm reigned in the room, and the deacon-theologian Spiridon Jabbour (Greek Orthodox) never left my room; he was like its doorkeeper. He didn't let anyone enter the room so as not to disturb me. Even my brother had to get his permission in order to see me!

Every morning, a priest came to give me the Holy Eucharist. On the first day, Father Joseph Malouli gave me Holy Communion. As soon as I received it, a strong and beautiful scent of roses escaped from my mouth, and everyone present could also smell it. This scent was so pleasant that I was repeatedly asked to open my mouth in order to smell it! We were all very surprised. A person who has fasted for three days cannot smell like that; on the contrary, the smell should be repulsive.

The second day, Father Elias Zahlaoui gave me the Holy Eucharist. My mother was very angry because there were a lot of people in the room, including two priests. My mother told the priests ‘that for a day and a half her eyes have been wide open and staring at the ceiling, and I asked my daughter to sleep, but she didn't sleep’. I heard what was being said in the room and I laughed. I don't want to sleep so as not to lose a single precious moment of what I'm experiencing, and my mother retorted, "God doesn't want that, close your eyes, rest a little, and sleep!" But I couldn't sleep. Suddenly, I felt a hand close my eyes. I said to my mother again: "But take your hands off my face!" I was surprised to learn later that it wasn't her hand closing my eyes. I slept for about half an hour. My mother (Noha) told me later that she hadn't touched me, but I felt a hand closing my eyes. I told my mother that ‘the Virgin Mary wanted to remind you that She too is a Mother caring for Her child and that She fears for me as much as you do’, and with that, I slept.

On the third day, Father Elias Zahlaoui gave me the Holy Eucharist, but I sensed that I had received it twice. After reciting the preparatory prayers for communion, as the priest approached me in order to give me the Eucharist, I told him I have already received communion! Father calmly replies But I haven't given you communion and I replied You're going to drive me crazy!

He calmly asked me: How was the host you received?

I replied: It was rounded, and I swallowed it without chewing.

He then said It doesn't matter, I'll give you communion.

As soon as I received the communion, a powerful scent of roses wafted through the room.

Around eleven o'clock in the morning, I suddenly felt the urge to vomit, and immediately I vomited, unable to hold it in—and I vomited a very pleasant-smelling oil. Everyone in the room witnessed it. They collected this oil on swabs of cotton. I vomited that same sweet-smelling oil again in the afternoon, and the third time was a little before midnight, and at that same moment I regained my sight, vomiting more oil. I saw my bed and my chest of drawers. I curled up on my bed, and when I raised my head, I realized that my sight has recovered and the first person I saw was my ecstatic mother. We embraced each other and I searched for my husband Nicolas, and I embraced him also.

An indescribable joy reigned in the room.

We began to sing the hymn of the ‘Resurrection of Our Lord’.

The deacon who was present for three days took the Bible and read the passage about Saint Paul's sight recovery. During these three days of fasting, my face was radiant, my complexion had changed; it had become pinkish. Slowly, I regained my usual yellowish complexion. My family waited for midnight so I could eat and have some hot soup.

The doctors who examined my eyes during this period said that the retina was constricted, so I was seeing a brighter light than the ambient light.

I think those were the most beautiful days I've ever experienced. More beautiful than the apparitions, more beautiful than the ecstasies, more beautiful than the stigmata... I saw nothing but light. I did not see Our Lord Jesus Christ nor the Virgin Mary during those three days, but I also saw this same light during Holy Week in 2004, when Jesus appeared (I don't consider it an ecstasy) in my room. My vision took a long time to recover; almost a week. It was as if there was a screen or a veil in front of my eyes.

During these three days of this deviation of my vision, I saw only holy objects, holy images, and the rosary. I did not react to non-religious objects. I would see a light emanating from the shape of the religious object… a light even stronger than the light in which I was bathed. Father Joseph Malouli would take a rosary and move it before my eyes. I could follow its path based on its refracted light. He would ask me “what do you see?” and I would reply “I see something moving but I don’t know what it is.” I was shown an icon of the Virgin Mary and without knowing it, my fingers automatically went towards Her Eyes!

Let us not forget Jesus’ Message given on November 26^th, 2001 regarding the Sacrament of the Eucharist :

My Children, I am giving myself to you.
The acts of adoration, meditation, thanksgiving and spiritual guidance rejoice Me.
These, however, can only be perfected when you are united at the Altar.
I am giving you My Body and My Blood as a token of My faithfulness and My love.
Accept from Me this sacrament with trust and faith, for it will comfort you, grant you strength and wisdom and promote the growth of grace in you....

Prove your love to Me, because through love I walk at your side and through the sacraments I unite Myself to you.

ABOUT FASTING

Let's listen to Myrna on this subject.

It's the most beautiful thing there is. We cannot approach God, nor understand Him, nor enter into His Heart without fasting. And it's more important than mortification. Fasting purifies us. In fact, Jesus spoke to me about it twice.

The first time was on November 26^th, 1988, the eve of the sixth anniversary of the Phenomenon:

"You must fast and pray, because it is through prayer that you will face My Reality and withstand all the blows."

The second time was on Holy Saturday, April 14^th, 2001:

"Dedicate yourself to prayer and let your fasting be accompanied by meditation and recollection; then you will hear My Voice within you."

True fasting consists of depriving ourselves of everything. Unfortunately, what Catholics do—which minimizes it substantially- is not fasting at all.

Often among Catholics, I see people partake of the Eucharist after eating.

Among the Orthodox, one must fast for a minimum of 12 hours before being able to receive the Eucharist.

Fasting prepares me for my encounter with God.

So, when I fast, I must not talk about it.

If I must talk about it, it is only to serve my mission.

In 1984 (Easter was celebrated on the same date by Catholics and Orthodox), during the stigmata, I fasted because the Church imposed fasting on us (before the Great Feast of Easter: 50 days).

In 1987 (also on common Easter Feast), I wanted to thank God for the graces I had received and prepare myself to receive the stigmata. I fasted for 50 days on bread and water. During this period, I experienced complete peace. Once the fast was over, my fatigue took over again.

You have to be convinced of what you are doing and not act out of obligation.

Fasting must be subject to my will.

In principle, I should fast 15 days before the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.

On one occasion I couldn't fast so as not to tire the people who are hosting me because I did not want them to prepare a special meal to accommodate my fast. They might resent me if they see that I don't eat with them. I don't want to fast on the one hand and on the other sadden my hosts, because fasting is a time of joy, but I would say to myself, "Lord, I offer You this day as a fast." I consider my time away from my children during a witnessing tour to also be a form of fasting, and I offer all of this to God. We must always maintain a dialogue with God.

Sometimes, fasting excluding food is also valid. For example, my father. Before Easter, during 50 days, he completely abstains from smoking and drinking coffee. And during this time, he feels no need to resume his habits. On Holy Saturday at midnight, he resumes them. I would tell him, "But you could have stopped completely?" And he would reply, "No, no, everything has its place!"

MYRNA'S SPIRITUAL GUIDES & DIRECTOR

Fr Joseph Malouli, CM

He is a Lazarist priest in Damascus from the Congregation of the Mission. Since 1940, has been teaching at the Lazarist college of Bab Touma in Damascus. He is recognized for his integrity and his strictness by the thousands of his former students.

He has been a privileged witness since the first hours of the apparitions and the signs which manifested themselves in Soufanieh. He has faithfully transcribed the Messages, observing and noting meticulously everything that was happening in the house of Soufanieh which he practically never left. He always presented an impartial analysis of the events.

Being a faithful witness of these events, he was also Myrna’s spiritual guide as well as the guide to all the pilgrims who visited the house of Soufanieh.

To quote his own words:

"I have let myself be caught totally (body and soul) by the Phenomenon of Soufanieh."

He experienced a completely unforeseen event: he received a Message from the Holy Virgin Mary, in an answer to a question he had asked while praying:

"Holy Virgin, enlighten us, so as to avoid making a mistake which could prejudice Your programme." 

The answer was given to him a few minutes later in a Message given on February 21^st, 1983:

"God saves me, Jesus enlightens me, the Holy Spirit is my life, this is why I fear nothing, isn't that so, My son Joseph ?"

He died on March 5^th, 2000.

Fr Elias Zahlaoui – Melkite Catholic

He is born in Damascus in 1932, studies at the Greek-Melkite Catholic seminary of Ste-Anne in Jerusalem then joins the Prado Community, in Lyon, France (a community of priests founded by the Blessed Father Antoine Chevrier and who live together to service the disinherited).

Ordained in Damascus in July 1959, he devotes himself to university youth and teaches at the University of Damascus.

Parish priest of Our Lady of Damascus since 1977, he is the founder of a choir named "Choeur-Joie" (Joyful Choir) which gathers over 450 members belonging to all Christian communities.

Author of several books, he has written a "SOUFANIEH" monograph as well as meditations regarding the Messages entitled "REMEMBER GOD".

He is a privileged witness since the beginning of the Phenomenon, and has guided Myrna and Nicolas during the various events and assumed an almost constant presence during the events of Our Lady of Soufanieh.

He is an intrepid spokesman, well-known for his search for the truth.

He is known for his integrity, his spirit of poverty and abnegation.

He is an apostle, inhabited, illuminated and set ablaze by Jesus crucified, as well as the witness of a life transfigured by grace, the existence of which is constantly under the protective eye of the Virgin Mary who has expressed him Her tenderness, and blessed his mission, with a personal encouraging Message received by Myrna in December 1982.

Fr Boulos (Paul) Fadel – Paulist Priest

Let us hear what Fr Elias Zahlaoui says about him:

He came to Soufanieh nearly four years after its outbreak.

He is a young Paulist priest, whose assiduity I have noticed for some time.

One day, I asked him the reason of his presence and he replied:

"I said to myself, although having seen so many people praying there for almost four years, surely it is a sign that something extraordinary has happened in this ordinary house ".

Since that day, he has been regularly noticed by his prayerful and calm presence, to the point that he became, day after day, a member of the Soufanieh family.

Father Joseph Malouli and I felt the importance of his presence, so that when he began to record his observations during the ecstasies and the Messages that Myrna received, it seemed to us that he would assume a role that was prepared for him, without affectation nor pretension.

Gradually he entered Soufanieh’s circle of life, eventually becoming an essential part of it.

First there is his prayerful presence, in calmness and silence, then his presence in public prayer, preparing it and directing it.

Then there is also his presence as a witness to important facts, such as the exudation of oil, at night or at dawn, from the Icon, as well as the opening of wounds in Myrna's body.

He must be also noted about his serene and gentle presence during some delicate discussions between priests about Soufanieh. All this earned him the deep trust of the whole family of Soufanieh,

especially Myrna, just as it earned him the respect and love of the visitors of Soufanieh, whether they are Arabs or not.

Following the death of Father Joseph Malouli, Myrna asked him to be her spiritual director.

One evening, while he was praying alone with Myrna in her room, the oil made its appearance on the Icon that Myrna held in her hand, and that she wanted to offer him.

This "sign" given to Father Boulos Fadel rejoiced me, because I have been saying for several months to this young priest my conviction that he will have to go a long way with Soufanieh.

He published an article in the magazine "Al-Maçarrat", in which he presented a clear and rigorous document related to the main facts and Messages of Soufanieh.

They conclude that Myrna is genuine and truthful, and that there is no fraud surrounding the Phenomena nor to the person touched by these graces.

EVERY 26TH OF NOVEMBER

This is the anniversary date of the beginning of the Phenomenon. For this occasion, a commemorative Mass dedicated to Christian Unity and for the unification of the date of the Feast of Easter is celebrated in one of the churches in Damascus, followed by a prayer service and joyous festivities in the house of Soufanieh.

Since 1993, a similar religious service is also performed in Montreal, Canada.

TO INVITE MYRNA TO YOUR COUNTRY / CITY

A written invitation is accepted only from the local Bishop or from a Superior General of a recognized religious order that is in communion with the Vatican or from a Patriarchal Authority (Catholic or Orthodox) where Myrna will be visiting which will be presented to the local Bishop in Damascus.

Myrna travels out of Syria in order to give her testimonial and to pray with the faithful. Usually, her spiritual guide accompanies her. Myrna's programme must not be included with another person with charisma. Myrna’s family is very modest, with simple means, and cannot travel unless all the expenses related to the trip (flight, lodging, insurance, visa fees etc…) are taken care of.

A detailed programme laying out the itinerary must accompany the invitation at least two months in advance for logistical purposes.

It is preferable to lodge Myrna and the persons accompanying her in a convent.

GRATUITY is de rigueur during her visit. We must ensure that her message, which is the essence of her mission, whose core element is PRAYER.

Soufanieh has no spokesman abroad. Myrna and her spiritual guides are not bound by statements or publications made or written by whomsoever. Books, press articles as well as any means of communication which do not emanate directly from Soufanieh, especially from her spiritual guide and directors, bind their sole authors.

Myrna and her husband submit filially to the judgment of the Church when it will be pronounced.

Any distribution of images, booklets of messages, books, videos or audio cassettes, CDs, DVDs or other objects of piety must be given FREE OF CHARGE and no admission fee may be charged in order to listen to Myrna’s testimonial.

This essentially responds to the message of Jesus Christ dated April 10^th, 2004:

"You are the radiance for a world seduced by materialism, sensuality, and celebrity to the point that it has almost lost its values."

CONCLUSION

Soufanieh is still living since November 27^th, 1982 in an atmosphere of peace, joy, serenity and total gratuity, in spite of the various servitude that visits impose on the inhabitants of the house. At Soufanieh, prayer is the essence of all activity. In principle, two prayer services are celebrated daily: prayer of the Rosary and common prayer. Sometimes, there are three or four services.

Prayer has not ceased a single day since November 27^th, 1982, regardless of time or circumstance (even during the war waged against Syria in 2011); prayers to which Muslims participate spontaneously, since the Virgin Mary is held in such high esteem in Islam. People that come for the first time to Soufanieh are moved by the fervor of the believers. Entire lives are totally transformed. Spiritual conversions are very numerous and are much more important than physical cures, yet very real. As for Myrna, she has kept her ingenuity and her simplicity, despite the many opportunities which could lead her into becoming very haughty.

Myrna, Nicolas and their children offer a remarkable example of Christian family, in their simplicity, their naturalness and the welcoming warmth of their home opened day and night to whomever comes to pray there. It is not easy to reconcile her apostolate with her other duties of wife, grand-mother, mother and sister to all. They rely a lot on our prayers in order to remain faithful to the graces they received.

Eventually, all signs will cease, and what will eternally remain are the MESSAGES.

A COMPILER’S PERSONAL NOTES AND IMPRESSIONS

I discovered Soufanieh in 1993 and since then I have personally visited Syria 5 times (1993, 1995, 1997, 2001 and 2004). I also accompanied Myrna and Fr Zahlaoui to Ukraine in 2008. I also planned Myrna’s detailed Mission to Canada & the USA in 2002. I accompanied Myrna and Fr Zahlaoui in Portugal in 1999. I joined Myrna in Rome and the Vatican in 1999. I joined Myrna and Fr Zahlaoui in Australia in 2005. I joined Myrna in France in 2003. I joined Myrna and Fr Zahlaoui in Sweden in 2005. I joined Myrna in England in 2004. I joined Myrna, her husband, and Fr Zygmunt Kwiatkowski in Poland in 2011 and 2012. I met Myrna in Canada at least 7 times.

I witnessed all the major events (ecstasy, stigmata, oozing of oil from Myrna’s face and hands and from the Icon) and recorded them on video and audiotapes.

Countless times, I have seen the oozing of oil from the Icon and from Myrna’s hands.

I have had the privilege of seeing the opening of the stigmata in 2001 and 2004.

In the Holy Bible, Saint John 17:21 (on first page) emphasizes Jesus’ desire for unity among His followers, also emphasizing the intimate relationship between Him and the Father. 

It highlights the importance of this unity in demonstrating the love and truth of God to the world, as well as the mission of the Church. 

This verse serves as a profound call for  believers to embody this unity in their relationships and actions, reflecting the divine love and purpose of the 

Trinity.

Yet, in 72 years from now, we will sadly remember 1,000 years of dis-unity with our Orthodox brothers, and on October 31^st of this year, we will also sadly remember another schism that has lasted 509 years between Catholics and Martin Luther’s split from Catholicism yielding the Protestant Reformation and its thousands of various denominational churches/congregations/assemblies!

On November 2026, 44 years would have passed since the beginning of the Phenomenon, and we still have not yet achieved any meaningful and significant progress in what is demanded of us by the Blessed Virgin Mary nor that of Her Son, Jesus Christ!

Initially the Julian calendar was used by all Christendom since the times of the Roman Emperor Julius Caesar, hence its name.

Due to a calculation error in its early conception, Catholics have used Pope Gregory XIII’s revised calendar since 1582 in their liturgical cycle, while the Orthodox still use the Julian calendar.

This leads to different Easter Week Feasts!

Sometimes one week separates the Feast of Easter, other times it is almost a month, and at times it is 11 years apart, but the worst part is when they are back-to-back.

This year, Catholics celebrated the Feast of Easter on April 5^th while the Orthodox celebrated it on April 12^th, one week later.

But, April 5^th was Palm Sunday for the Orthodox!

Imagine a procession in the streets of Damascus, where Catholics celebrate the Glorious Resurrection of Jesus Christ, while Orthodox Christians will be celebrating Palm Sunday on the same day to the dismay of Muslims and non-religious persons who will be viewing this contradictory spectacle of plain disunity among Christians!

The only entity that will rejoice in this spectacle is SATAN!

Worse, it is very common to have mixed Christian marriages in the Middle-East.

The father could be Catholic while the wife could be Orthodox, or vice-versa.

If there is no harmony or unity within this family, one parent can decide which service to attend, leaving the other behind, taking along their children to attend his/her denominational religious service!

And the other parent can do the same at the date of his/her denominational religious service!

In the Western world, this scandalous division does not have the same impact as in the Middle-East, but it is still an ugly division!

The Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ becomes a sign of division!

Sadly, our Church leaders are not able or willing to solve this calendar issue!

Yet, this is not a theological problem!

They do not realize or admit that this situation creates scandal, mockery and confusion especially where Christians live in predominantly Muslim countries.

ONLY the former king of Jordan, Hussein bin Talal, ordered that all Christians celebrate together ONE Feast of Easter.

ONLY the Syriak-Orthodox Church under the late Patriarch Zakka Iwaz I has been very receptive to the Messages of Soufanieh, and has implicitly authorized all His Churches to welcome it. Before His death, while sick, He did His final pilgrimage on earth praying at the house of Soufanieh while in a wheelchair.

Yet, the past 3 Catholic Popes and the current Pope Leo XIV have also made CHRISTIAN UNITY their priority by reaching out to their Orthodox brothers to solve these issues and attain full communion; but unfortunately, they have not yet borne any fruit!

If our Church leaders cannot solve a simple calendar issue, which is only a very small yet a humble step towards unity, but will still please Jesus and Mary, and is not full unity, when and how will they be able to attain full Christian Unity at the Altar which involves dealing with theological issues and schisms?

Is it mission impossible?

Yet, Jesus Christ and His Mother demand it with insistence!

The same calendar issue also pertains to the celebration of Christmas!

In 2027, Easter will be celebrated 5 weeks apart: March 29^th vs May 2^nd!

In 2028, Easter will be celebrated together again, due to the calendars coinciding.

I have promised you, and I am faithful to My promises; but are you faithful to the trust I have given you?

The above prayer has been translated into various languages and printed in the back of a prayer card of various sizes dedicated to Our Lady of Soufanieh. Millions of copies have also been distributed worldwide free of charge.

IN 2011, SYRIA HAS BEEN ATTACKED MILITARILY BY VARIOUS TERRORIST FACTIONS: ISIS, DAESH, ISLAMIC JIHAD, AL-NUSRA. THE WESTERN WORLD THROUGH SANCTIONS HAVE CRIPPLED ITS PEOPLE AND ECONOMY DUE TO LACK OF MEDICINE ACCESS TO FOOD AND AID.
